Marques Simmons – Performance Training Specialist

Marques is a performance training specialist who offers a wealth of knowledge and experience as a former running back from the University of Iowa. During his time at the University of Nebraska, Marques placed 6th in the 200 meter dash Big 12 indoor track meet as a freshman and currently holds the fastest electronic 100 meter dash record in the state of Iowa at 10.63 seconds. He is currently one of two, three-time Drake Relays Champion in the event.

Marques had the privilege of training under two of the finest strength coaches in the country in Boyd Eppley at the University of Nebraska and Chris Doyle at the University of Iowa. He is currently studying for his CSCS and USAW Sports Performance Coach certification.

Marques enjoys training, fishing and playing or watching football. His football highlight was scoring a crucial touchdown against Former National Champion, LSU Tigers in the Capital One Bowl in 2005.
